ESTONIAN SINFONIETTA AT SUMMER CLASSICS IN PALAMUSE
On the 30th of July at 5 PM, the traditional summer concert will take place at Palamuse Church,
in which this year “Beloved Music from Movies” will be pefromed.
The soloists of the concert are Kadri Tegelmann, a mezzo-soprano born and raised in Palamuse, and a musical- star Lauri Liiv.
Kadri Tegelmann graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy with a Master’s degree and continued her studies at the Dutch National Opera Studio, currently is working in the Netherlands.
The Estonian Sinfonietta will be conducted by Lauri Sirp.
He received the annual prize for musical performances at the National Opera Theater Estonian for the 2006 production and the annual Estonian Cultural Endowment Prize for the performance of the opera “The Turn of the Screw” by Benjamin Britten at the Birgitta Festival in 2008.
The concertmaster of the Estonian Sinfonietta at Summer Classics in Palamuse is Andri Annus.
