ESTONIAN SINFONIETTA SOLOISTS AT THE FINAL CONCERT OF XXIV KURESSAARE CHAMBER MUSIC DAYS
On Saturday, August 4th at 7 PM in the Kuressaare Cultural Center Estonian Sinfonietta Soloists will perform their brand new concert program called "Night Fantasy”.
There are three pieces of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in that program: beside two serenades inspired by night - Serenata Notturna K.239 and Eine Kleine Nachtmusik K.525, young Chinese virtuose, living now in Germany, Haiou Zhang, will perform Piano Concerto KV 414.
Estonian Sinfonietta Soloists have been played many Estonian premiers in Kuressaare during past years. There is another Estonian premiere in that program - Pusnakts Rīgā / Midnight in Riga, written by Latvian composer Artūrs Maskats (1957), soloists are Maano Männi (violin), Jarkko Launonen (cello) and Karl Johann Lattikas (vibraphone).
The Kuressaare Chamber Music Days have been organized since 1995 each year in the beginning of August in the capital of Saaremaa, the largest island of Western Estonia. The artistic director and producer of Kuressaare Chamber Music Days is pianist Andres Paas.
